After my inability to complete my triathlon, the usual bummed out depression followed that will usually follow walking out of a race you trained 4 months for. In the simplest words I can use - IT SUCKED.
Then came the flu, Christmas, Christmas vacation (awesome), January, Ragnar (Miami-Florida Keys), home remodeling and here we are at the end of February. Where does the time go? That's pretty good for a quick update is it not?
So what's new you ask? I'm in the midst of training for my first Ragnar trail event in April (EXCITED) and a triathlon in May. I've toned down the long runs and am working on getting my speed back. I also need to drop that extra holiday weight I always pack on. I do love my holiday goodies!
So far 2015 has been a good year and I'm hoping the following months bring good times with my amazing running friends and new adventures!
